Asa Shatkin
After studying Graphic Design and Drawing at Hampton University, Asa Shatkin left school to become a Graphic Documentation Specialist and paratrooper in the Army. He spent a few years eating beans on toast and painting unit crests on every building on every Army post in the United States. He then returned to school to learn how to suffer as only an an artist can (boo hoo); and to study painting. Today, he and his imaginary friends create hip doodles by running around with giant paintbrushes tied to their legs. Asa is also available if you would like to commission a painting.
