The work I produce focuses on a melding of the aesthetic and the personal with the subconscious, through combinations of personally symbolic imagery, rhythmic repetition, pattern, and subliminally uplifting color schemes. Working in layers, and toying with abstract space and dimension evokes, within me, a deep-seated, visceral excitement. Through the unusual integration of representational, graphic, and abstract imagery, I aim to provide a unique visual experience for the viewer, in hopes of provoking dialogue, based on personal, subconscious associations and memories, in addition to bringing a sense of lightheartedness and playfulness to an interior environment.
